Dan Boerman
CEO
Dan leads Boerman Moving & Storage with a deep connection to the company’s history and a hands-on understanding of the business. Having started at a young age and gained additional experience with Bekins Van Lines, he brings both perspective and leadership to his role today. He enjoys problem solving across all areas of the company and takes pride in the strong, family-oriented culture at Boerman. Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time on the water, especially waterskiing and boating with his family. During the summer, you’ll often find him performing in water ski shows with The Aquanuts at Lance Park in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin.
Mike Boerman
CSO
Mike joined the company full-time in 2004, after graduating from Eastern Illinois University. He started as a long distance driver in the Bekins system and won driver of the month in April 2005. In November of 2005, he transferred from driving to outside sales and since has consistently maintained a high closing ratio. He has received several sales awards from Bekins such as; Presidents Club 2007 and 2008, Bekins Top Ten Sales 2009, Bekins Hit The Target March 2010 and April 2010, and Bekins Top Sales Performer for 2012.
Rachel Cwiak
VP of Administration
Rachel has been with Boerman since 1995 and is truly a cornerstone of the company. What started as a summer job turned into a long and dedicated career built on loyalty, consistency, and a sharp eye for detail. She enjoys working behind the scenes, especially when it comes to analyzing data and improving processes to help everything run more efficiently. Outside of work, Rachel loves live music and often spends time supporting local bands, including her husband who plays regularly. When she’s not at a show, you can find her enjoying a night out at places like Vai’s in Naperville.

Frank has been part of the Boerman team since 2016 and brings a true passion for helping people to everything he does. As a dedicated father of four, he knows how important it is to take care of others, and that shows in the way he supports both customers and crew every day. Frank is known for finding solutions and bringing a steady, positive presence to any situation. Outside of work, you’ll find him spending time with his family, coaching football for the Oak Lawn Outlaws, and keeping up with sports and movies. One of his favorite local spots is Gorman Park, where he enjoys being outdoors with his family.
Jose Ruano
Local Dispatch
Jose brings over a decade of moving industry experience to his role as dispatcher, with a background that spans everything from packing to working directly in the field. That hands-on experience gives him a unique ability to support both customers and crew. Known for being easygoing and always willing to help, Jose takes pride in making sure the team is set up for a successful day. As a bilingual Spanish and English speaker, he also plays an important role in supporting communication across the team. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing and spending time with his church community, and he’s always up for a great seafood spot like Pez Blanco.
Trevor Turvey
Sales Representative
Trevor has been with Boerman since 2014 and is known for his outgoing personality and ability to connect with just about anyone. He enjoys being out in the community and working with different families every day, knowing no two days are ever the same. Trevor brings a fun, easygoing energy to his work while still taking pride in doing things the right way. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and children, staying active on his property, and exploring new restaurants. You’ll often find him walking the riverwalks in Oswego or Naperville or trying out new local spots.
Nick Ariano
Sales Representative
Nick has been with Boerman since 2018 and brings over 15 years of sales experience along with a strong focus on relationships. As a father of two daughters, he values family and connection, which shows in the way he works with customers every day. He enjoys meeting new people and helping make the moving process feel smooth and stress-free. Outside of work, Nick stays busy with his family, working on cars, golfing, boating, and enjoying time by the pool. You might also find him at local favorites like Q’s Italian, Burnt Barrel Social, or Topgolf.
Ken Wolff
Sales Representative
Ken started at Boerman Moving & Storage in 2019 and brought more than three decades of retail experience. He previously worked with well-known brands including Target, Bass Pro Shops, T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods, and Ross. Ken is known for his exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and calm problem-solving approach as an in-home estimator. In his free time, he enjoys family, friends, golfing, fishing, grilling, and relaxing to classic rock music. He values great service.
Taylor Davis
Sales Representative
Taylor brings a hands-on understanding of the moving process along with a positive, can-do attitude. He enjoys working with customers, sharing helpful tips, and making sure they feel confident heading into moving day. For Taylor, it’s all about delivering on the promise of a smooth, stress-free experience.
Outside of work, he stays active golfing, working out, and getting outside with his German Shepherd. He also enjoys cooking, making music, and taking advantage of sunny days, especially along Milwaukee’s lakefront or out on the course. A fun fact, Taylor is proudly Canadian, no dual citizenship needed!
Ty Mangino
Sales Representative
Ty joined Boerman in 2018 and is someone people naturally feel comfortable with right away. He takes pride in building genuine relationships and making sure every customer feels heard and taken care of throughout the moving process. Ty brings a calm, dependable energy to his work and values strong connections both on and off the job. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active and has a strong background in athletics, including being a 5-time National Champion in flag football. He also enjoys checking out local spots like Hardware and Turf Room in Aurora, Ten Drops in Plainfield, and Morton Arboretum in Lisle, along with spending time with family, friends, and his dog.

Richard brings decades of experience and a genuine love for people to the Boerman team. He believes the best way to learn is by listening, and that mindset has helped him build strong, lasting connections with customers over the years. Richard enjoys meeting new people and taking the time to understand what matters most to them. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, traveling, and attending football games. A fun fact, he once met comedian Richard Pryor and even shared a joke with him.

Melinda joined Boerman in 2018, bringing previous experience with the company and a natural talent for staying organized. She takes pride in helping customers through one of life’s more stressful moments, making sure they feel supported every step of the way. Known for her attention to detail and caring approach, Melinda plays a key role in keeping moves on track. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors camping, fishing, and kayaking. Some of her favorite spots include Zuka Hibachi Grill and family trips to local zoos like Brookfield Zoo.
Tanisha Trim
Move Coordinator
Tanisha joined the Boerman Moving & Storage team in June of 2021 and brings over 20 years of customer service experience. Her background makes her a strong asset to our growing team, especially for long-distance moves. Tanisha has been married for 10 years and is the proud mother of three daughters, Ericka, KaShay, and Markia. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling almost anywhere, playing Candy Crush, and spending time with her family whenever possible. She is known for her warmth and reliability.
Shannon Pearcy
Move Coordinator
Shannon began her career in the moving industry working alongside her husband Dave, assisting road drivers with packing, job coordination, and inventory across Illinois. She later transitioned into office operations, managing long-distance dispatch for Moving Services Inc, a Wheaton Van Lines agent. With years of experience, Shannon now coordinates long-distance moves at Boerman. She and Dave have been together for 17 years and enjoy crafting, time with nieces and nephews, and relaxing with their fur babies whenever they can.
Kendra Mallett
Move Coordinator
Kendra Mallett joined Boerman Moving & Storage on April 4, 2023, as an Interstate Coordinator, helping customers navigate smooth and efficient moves across state lines. With strong attention to detail and a commitment to service, she plays a key role in long-distance relocations. Outside of work, Kendra enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her daughter. A fun fact many don’t know about her is that she loves to read and even writes books in her free time when she can.
Ursula McKay
Accounts Payable/Receivable
Ursula has been part of the Boerman team since 2018 and brings over 14 years of accounting experience to her role. Known for being a true team player and someone you can count on, she helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes while juggling multiple responsibilities with ease. Ursula enjoys that no two days are the same and takes pride in being a steady, dependable part of the team Outside of work, she enjoys slowing things down with gardening, getting lost in a good book, and spending quality time with her grandson, who keeps life fun and full of energy.
Joyce Arcuri
Administrative Assistant
Joyce Arcuri joined Boerman Moving & Storage in August of 2021 and serves as an Administrative Assistant supporting daily operations. With strong organizational skills and attention to detail, Joyce helps ensure customers and staff receive the assistance they need for a seamless moving experience. When you call Boerman, Joyce’s friendly voice is often the first you will hear. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cheering on her nieces and nephews at sporting events, and reading crime and mystery novels.
Jim O'Dell
Director of Packing, Crating and Special Services
Jim (affectionately known as Uncle Jim) has been a valued member of the Boerman Moving & Storage team since 1977. Starting as a mover’s helper, he advanced into his role as Director of Packing, Crating, and Special Services. With over 35 years of experience, Jim specializes in protecting high-value and delicate items. He plays a key role in overseeing specialty packing and custom crating, ensuring every item is handled with care and precision.
Michael Engstrom
Sales
Michael joined Boerman in 2020 and brings over 35 years of sales experience along with a strong focus on relationships. He enjoys meeting new people and taking the time to connect, helping guide customers through a smooth and well-organized moving process.
Outside of work, Michael is a dedicated Chicago sports fan and enjoys spending time with his family. A former collegiate soccer player and longtime coach, he still carries that team-first mindset today and enjoys staying involved in the game.
Sheila Kincheloe
Home Delivery Coordinator
Sheila joined the team at Boerman Moving and Storage in March of 2002 and has worked in various aspects of the administration and coordination of accounts. In 2008 she stepped into the role of Home Delivery Coordinator and found the perfect fit. Sheila’s attention to detail and excellent customer service skills are the key to her successes in the fast paced Home Delivery side of our business. When not at work Sheila is an avid animal lover and enjoys gambling trips with her husband and her mother.
Lisa Santilli
Logistics Coordinator
After 11 years in retail, Lisa joined the Boerman team in 2019. From knowing the receiving side of FF&E projects, she understands the scope of work for many special projects that coordinates. Her proactive mindset and attention to detail is exactly what we need to continue providing the best service to many customers. When she is not spending time with her family, (Anna, 22 and Mia, 19) she loves to knit, read and workout!
Jina Boerman
Marketing
Jina began her career recruiting for law firms and in-house legal departments, building strong experience in relationship-building, communication, and business development. While on maternity leave, she transitioned into a marketing role at Boerman Moving & Storage, where she built the marketing department from the ground up and helped shape how the company shows up in the community.
Today, Jina plays a key role in supporting Boerman’s growth by strengthening customer communication, maintaining a consistent brand presence, and helping the business evolve while staying rooted in the values that have made it trusted for generations.
Kelly Bennett
Marketing
Kelly has been part of the Boerman team since 2017 and leads the company’s marketing efforts with a creative and community-focused approach. With a background in communication and customer service, she enjoys building relationships and finding new ways to share the Boerman story both online and in the community. Outside of work, Kelly spends time with her husband and two boys, often outdoors or walking around Downtown Plainfield. She loves being part of the local community and is almost always seen with a coffee in hand.
Maddie Carroll

As a recent Millikin University graduate, Maddie stepped into the role of Marketing Specialist, bringing fresh ideas, creativity, and energy to the Boerman Moving & Storage team. From supporting day-to-day marketing efforts to helping share the story behind Boerman’s people, services, and 100-year legacy, Maddie plays an important role in keeping the brand modern, consistent, and connected to the communities we serve.
Outside of work, Maddie loves going to concerts, traveling, and she’s even completed the Chicago Marathon, which reflects the drive and determination she brings to everything she does.
