Move Day Musts: Be Ready for a Smooth Move

Moving day runs best when everyone’s prepared—and we mean everyone. Here’s how to make sure your move is efficient, safe, and stress-free:
Be Home & Be Ready: An adult must be present all day. Having a dedicated point person at your new home to direct the movers is ideal.
Kids & Pets: For everyone’s safety (and sanity), arrange for them to stay with a family member, at daycare, or wherever they’re happiest for the day.
Everything Packed & Labeled: All boxes should be fully packed and labeled on the side with the room name in your new home. Bonus points for using a floor plan and sticky notes at your new place to show us which room is which!
Clear the Driveway: Keep the driveway open so our trucks can park close for quicker loading and unloading.
Pack Personal Items Separately: Jewelry, cash, important documents, plants, and anything you’re moving yourself should already be packed and loaded in your vehicle.
Know How You’ll Pay: Once we’ve unloaded everything, we’ll settle up—make sure you’re ready with your preferred payment method.
