Boerman Logistics was started by Howard and Mary Boerman in 1926 as an ice and coal delivery business. The ice and coal business required the company to provide additional  warehousing and delivery services. This lead Boerman Logistics to become a full service delivery and warehouse company. In March 2000, the company moved to Woodridge, Illinois into a 42,000 square foot facility, recently renovated and expanded to 58,500 square feet in 2018, that provides both distribution services and warehousing projects.
